Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

Melli Martens, contact@melli-lab.de. SC Portal is a private, non-commercial hobby project run on the operator's own server in Germany.

2. What Datarunner does

Datarunner keeps the crew's own Star Citizen market data: prices read off commodity kiosks, the captures they belong to and the screenshots they were read from. Our apps (Monolith) send captures here.

3. What we process and why

Signing in. Only through SC Portal. Datarunner receives your account ID, display name, Discord user ID and your roles from it, and keeps your name and roles to show who you are and what you may do. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Captures. For every capture: the terminal, the prices, inventory and container sizes read, the time, your account ID and display name as the person who captured it, and the screenshots of the kiosk. Captures are visible to everyone with access to Datarunner. Screenshots show the game's kiosk; avoid capturing anything else on your screen. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (the crew's shared price data).

Edits. Changes and deletions in Datarunner are recorded with who made them.

Technical data. IP address, time of request and browser information are processed briefly to deliver the site and protect it (rate limiting, sessions). Server logs are size-limited and overwritten automatically. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies. Only the cookie that keeps you signed in. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising.

4. Your rights

Write to the contact above to have your captures removed or your name taken off them. You also have the right to access, rectification, restriction, objection and data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR) — write to the contact above — and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

5. No third parties

Fonts are served from our own server. Apart from the sign-in with Discord (which you start yourself), your browser doesn't talk to anyone else through this site.
